Tour de Nebraska

Tour de Nebraska is a fully sagged bicycle tour that begins and ends near Lincoln, Nebraska’s Capital City. It is organized and hosted by Rich and Susan Rodenburg, avid cyclists and former owners of two bicycle shops. The Rodenburgs, (and Elsie, their Basset Hound and Tour de Nebraska mascot), take turns driving “sag” wagons with their staff of mechanics, and riding the route.

Tour de Nebraska sag wagons are stocked with fruit and water, and our staff is ready to assist you in the case of mechanical or medical emergencies. Tour de Nebraska is unique because it is a 5-day circle tour, which means riders enjoy the convenience of starting and ending at the same place. We also limit our ride to 250 cyclists, which allows for meaningful interaction between riders and the communities we visit. Our size also allows our team to provide excellent service to each and every rider! Our daily mileage ranges from 45-70 miles, making Tour de Nebraska an especially perfect multi-day tour for first-timers!

Once you register, we will send you a Tour de Nebraska Handbook with “Everything you need to know about Tour de Nebraska…but were afraid to ask!” This handbook includes tips on training, packing, sample daily itineraries, maps, etc. so you will be ready to thoroughly enjoy the experience of exploring beautiful Nebraska from the seat of your bicycle!

2015 Chain Gang

The Dundee Chain Gang is gearing up for exciting 2015. Besides the new and improved site, I’ll be adding a new calendar, commenting on Craigies latest mishaps and overzealous Creighton blabber. All you sissy road weanies need to get a grip and stop with your indoor training BS. Get a fat bike and ride like a man. Craigie got one, so now you have no excuse.
